Troubleshooting Feeding IssuesUpdated 3 days ago
Make sure that you have read and attempted the troubleshooting fixes from the Feeding Issues General Troubleshooting section before moving on to this article.
Symptom
After trying the general troubleshooting tips, rounds in your LCT AK still either don’t shoot at all, or the gun feeds sporadically (maybe it fires once every five cycles, maybe it shoots in a burst and then not again).
Causes
Unless there is something wrong with the barrel group (see the general feeding troubleshooting for tips here) then the cause for poor feeding on our LCT AK kits is usually:
- Feed tube not activating BB latch on magazine
- Bolt carrier not travelling back far enough
- Airshaft relative position too far forward
