Make sure that you have read and attempted the troubleshooting fixes from the Feeding Issues General Troubleshooting section before moving on to this article. 

Symptom

After trying the general troubleshooting tips, rounds in your WE M4/4168/888 still either don’t shoot at all, or the gun feeds sporadically (maybe it fires once every five cycles, maybe it shoots in a burst and then not again).

Causes

Unless there is something wrong with the barrel group (see the general feeding troubleshooting for tips here) then the cause for poor feeding on our WE M4 kits is usually:

• Poor magazine compatibility
• Feed tube too far forward to trigger magazine BB retention latch

We have noticed an increase in feeding problems due to the second point; we are working with our factory to solve this point.
